Preparations are underway for Dungannon annual’s Christmas Fair next month (11th – 13th December) which will showcase local food and crafts at their finest.
More than 20 traders will be in the town’s Market Square and in Ranfurly House for an entire weekend, bringing festive food, gorgeous gifts and entertainment to the streets to compliment the town’s late night and Sunday shopping.
Visitors can choose to indulge in flavoursome treats and cherry pick unique gifts and festive flowers for Christmas, while foodie fans will be delighted with treats including chocolate, mince pies, hot food, cordials and homemade tray bakes.
As well as the seasonal sights, sounds, tastes and flavours coming to the town centre, street entertainment, including stilt walkers, face painters and some surprise Christmas characters will also be visiting Dunganon.
Santa’s Magical Grotto will also be open on Saturday 12 December on the historic Hill of the O’Neill, when children can begin their journey by writing and posting your letter to Santa Claus, then take part in Christmas Art Activities. Complete your visit by meeting the man in red.
The Christmas Market takes place on Friday 11 December from 1pm – 6pm, Saturday 12 December from 10am to 5pm and Sunday 13 December from 1pm to 4.30pm.
Parking in the town centre’s pay and display off-street car parks will be at a reduced rate of 10pm for 3 hours throughout December.
